SLEEPING BEAUTY AWAKES IN SALFORD

As part of its ongoing PR and marketing support for Salford City Academy, Powell is about to put a striking new complexion on the Sixth Form’s state-of-the-art hair and beauty salon.

Powell is set to stage a high profile launch, involving local companies and celebrities, to put this superb new facility on the map. Salford City Academy has seen its NVQ course in Beauty Therapy go from strength to strength with students progressing through a rigorous training programme.

This fully prepares students to take their qualifications into the world of beauty in workplaces such as health spas, hairdressing salons, beauty and grooming clinics and cruise ships.

A typical example of the Academy’s success is Amy Henderson (pictured) who is just months away from achieving her NVQ level three and full qualification for a career in the beauty sector.
