Piccadilly House short-listed for RICS Design and Innovation Award

A stunning serviced office development in Manchester’s city centre has been short-listed in the Design and Innovation category for this year’s Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) North West Awards.

Piccadilly House, which opened for business last year, offers six floors of boutique business space in the heart of the city, overlooking Piccadilly Gardens.

Designed and finished to an exceptionally high standard, the property is the latest success story for Anvic Developments which also operates Lodge House and Northbridge House in Burnley. Managing Director Paul Dawson’s vision was to create a unique business space in Manchester city centre where design features and an inspiring interior environment were coupled with unrivalled service levels, extensive facilities and a great location.

The five star, contemporary development is enjoying good occupancy rates and has struck deals with three new clients since the start of the year. In addition, three existing tenants have just expanded their space and the development continues to receive high enquiry levels despite current economic conditions.

“Piccadilly House is our flagship development and we believe its design features and facilities set it apart from anything else on offer in Manchester city centre,” says Dawson. “Being short-listed for the Design and Innovation category in the RICS North West Awards is a reflection of our own confidence and belief in the property and we are delighted that the judges appear to be as impressed with what Piccadilly House has to offer as our customers are.”

The finals of the RICS North West Awards, which aim to celebrate the region’s most inspirational property initiatives and developments, will take place at the City of Manchester Stadium on 8th May 2009.
